Qamar-ul-Haq and Athar- Expert Ceramic Artists from Blue Hues Multan
The artisans at our production unit have been dedicated to their craft for over 18–20 years. Most of them learned the art of kashigari as children and later received formal certification from the government institute TEVTA. They’ve worked across cities like Gujranwala and Lahore, and today, their skill has reached a level where they can paint anything on ceramics, not just traditional designs, but portraits, calligraphy, and a wide range of custom artwork.
This tradition stems from Shah Alam, the pioneer who introduced and established Multani Blue Pottery. He not only started practicing it himself but also built a factory and began teaching others. His efforts eventually led to the government recognizing kashigari as a Multani cultural art and offering formal certification. Two of his students, Qamar-ul-Haq and Athar, are now key artisans in our team and carry this legacy forward with dedication.
The production process involves four specialized teams. The first team prepares the raw material known as slip, handles the casting and molding, and completes the base finishing. The second team — the main artisans — sketch the designs and calligraphy according to each order. The third team fills in the colors with precision, and finally, every piece is glazed and baked for 8–10 hours in a temperature-controlled kiln at 1100–1250°C.
The owner, Mehmood Ahmad, remains deeply involved with both the artisans and the entire production process, ensuring that each piece reflects the care and tradition it deserves. For those abroad, our work is also available for viewing and purchase at Global Village UAE.

Shazia- Watercolor Painter
I’m a self-taught artist inspired by the boundless beauty of nature. I find freedom of expression in working with water, a powerful, untamable element often considered the most difficult medium to master. For me, shaping water into defined forms and hues reflects the broader human challenge of taming nature itself.
My artistic journey began with a painting of Lake Saif ul Malook in northern Pakistan. I gained foundational knowledge through the online art school Artefacto, where I was mentored by artists including Prasad Beaven, Javid Tabatabai, Andy Evanson, Ekaterina Sava, Ilya Ibryaev, Anna Evanova, Reha Sakar, and Konstantin Sterkhov.
Since then, there’s been no turning back.
Every week I found information about drawing, composition and different styles of watercolors. All the masters in the field like Prakashan Puthur, Masato Wantanabe and Stephie Clark quenched my thirst to know more about watercolor art.
